Transfer Plus

The printing is done on special transfer paper, from which the image is transferred to the surface of the decorated product, such as a mug. It is then fired at a temperature of about 820 degrees C. in a chamber or tunnel oven. Transfer Plus is a screen printing technique used on porcelain, ceramics and glass. The advantage of this method is the possibility of marking large areas, making prints in less typical places, not available for other printing techniques, such as on the bottom of the mug, on the inner wall of the mug, under the ear, in convex or concave places.

Disadvantages

- limited color palette
- hand decoration, possible minimal deviations when applying to products
- visible raster dots in CMYK type works
- any object, line or text smaller than 0.2 mm will not be printed
- in negative any object, line or text smaller than 0.4 mm will be filled with paint
